ECU Calibration Engineering
Our engineers have experience working on dozens of engine calibrations across multiple base engine platforms including General Motors, Ford, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Doosan, Kubota, Yanmar, Power Solutions International (PSI), Volkswagen, and Weichi Power to name a few. We’re spark-ignited experts, but compression-ignition equally thrills us. Having been directly responsible for the development and release of 20+ engine calibrations, and management oversight of numerous more, we have the expertise to augment your technical team in a very specialized discipline.
Test Engineering
Testing is expensive! It is of absolute importance to utilize test articles, testing capital assets, and personnel resources to be as efficient and effective as possible when it comes to this stage of product development and validation. Defining clear test objectives, developing test plans, identifying the appropriate test resources, analyzing & reviewing data, presenting results, and arriving at conclusions in an efficient manner is critical. We get it and we can help.
SITE CERTIFICATION CALIBRATION of STATIONARY ENGINES
We provide engine ECU calibration services for stationary, spark-ignited, gas engines to optimize emissions performance to meet ultra-low exhaust emissions requirements for non-attainment zone permitting and other related regulatory requirements.
Test Systems Engineering
Test system knowledge is hard to come by and it can be expensive. We have experience designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art powertrain test cell systems. From AC motoring dynamometer system development, constant volume sampling (CVS) system development, emissions sampling system integration, data acquisition system development and integration to complete automation system programming there’s not much in an a powertrain test cell that we’ve not intimately familiar with. Whether you need to identify, source, and integrate “off-the-shelf” test components and systems that already exist, or develop ground-up solutions, our experience will quickly prove its value.
Controls Engineering
With 15+ years of controls development support including algorithm modification, algorithm development, feature definition, functional specification development, functional gap analysis review, controller area network (CAN) development, and graphical programming we can augment your organizations technical team to conceptualize, compare, specify, and implement electronic control systems.
Emissions Compliance & Certification support
We know EPA’s CFR-Code of Federal Regulations and CARB’s CCR-California Code of Regulations and we’ve dabbled in the EU’s ECE- and China’s GB . We have experience supporting compliance team personnel interpreting regulations, developing emissions test plans, and interacting with the regulatory agencies. Our emissions experts have done it all; we can augment your in-house compliance personnel or enable you to outsource emissions entirely. Either way, you’re in control and we’ll meet you where you need.
